Neighborhood Survey

  • Tuesday, 09 March 2010 11:12

Your opinion counts! The CFECL Executive Team has created a survey to better understand what each neighbor wants out of their civic league!  As you can imagine, there are many different roles your civic league must play.  To help us focus and create a league that serves the neighborhood the best possible way, please give us your input!  Follow this link to complete a brief, anonymous survey so we know your thoughts on how to build the best civic league possible!

Wards Corner History

  • Friday, 05 November 2010 09:32

Take a historical look at Wards Corner from the past through the present.  This is the slide presentation the Mr. Hitchings was kind enough to present at our last civic league meeting.  The photos and maps inside this presentation along with Mr. Hitchings commentary is simply incredible.  Our area is full of rich history and this presentation shows how far we've come!

The Eagle has Landed!

  • Tuesday, 22 June 2010 14:09

This is something we don't see often in Cromwell Farms or Ellswroth; a bald eagle!  At around 9am, this hungry eagle landed in the 100 block of Blake road to chase after a rabbit.  Click on "Read More" to see the entire picture.

Thanks to neighborhood reporter William E. Higgins for capturing this photo.  Do you want to tell the neighborhood something?  Click "Tell the Neighborhood" and let us know.

Flowers on Ellsworth

  • Wednesday, 16 June 2010 07:28

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood!  The civic league purchased and provided flowers for planting around the Ellsworth Neighborhood sign on Granby St.  Thanks to John and Iva Winters the flowers are healthy and enjoying their new home.   But, like all community projects, if they are looking a little thirsty, help out and give them a drink!  Thanks to a survey respondent for suggesting this great idea.  Click "Read More" to see a full size image.

Survey Results

  • Wednesday, 16 June 2010 07:08

The results are in and much was learned from the survey results and associated commentary.  The survey results showed that for the most part, the league is on the right track.  There are things we are doing well, and there are things we could do better.  The executive committee has thoughtfully reviewed the responses and has learned from this experience.  Expect to see those changes soon!

The following file can be downloaded and reviewed but does not contain any narrative fields to protect the privacy of those that provided written feedback. Click Here to Download Survey Results

Note: Depending on how the user responded to a certain question, a different set of questions was asked.  This is why "No Answer" is used for some questions since certain people were not asked certain questions based on their answer choices.
